Is the Festival free?

Yes, entrance to the festival grounds is free but a wristband is required to board and tour some of the attractions. Details about the passes will be available soon. Please check back for updates.

Some examples of FREE activities include walking trough the Wooden Boat exhibits, viewing the ships from the docks, learning to be a Pirate in the Pirate Camp, participating in the hands on Education Village, watching Families build their very own wooden boats (Sat and Sun) and more! Why should we come to Charleston Harbor Fest?

It is great family fun offered to the community for free. With ships from around the world visiting and opening their gangways for personal tours, it is an opportunity for cultural exchange among nations and seeing the life aboard a tall ship up-close.
