Children's Village (Ansonborough Field)

Where else can you build a model sailboat and see if it floats, learn to tie a monkey’s fist, jump around in a giant castle and search for buried treasure? The Charleston Harbor Fest Children’s Village is packed with exciting activities and provides an entertaining environment to teach children about our South Carolina’s maritime history.
The festival will offer a chance for children to make their very own sailboat with supplies on hand to decorate the sail. There will also be arts and crafts available to make pirate hats and other maritime treats.

Don’t miss the Pirate Costume Contest and Parade each afternoon (Fri, Sat and Sun) at 3pm. Come dressed as a pirate and give your best “ARRRRGH!” All ages welcome!

Activities will include:
- Authentic Pirate Camp
- Learn to tie knots with Dan "the Knot Man" Machowski
- Pirate Costume Contest and Parade at 3pm (Fri, sat and Sun)
- Jump Castle Inflatable
- Rescue Heros Inflatable
- Backyard Obstacle Inflatable
- Design and decorate a model boat
- Face painting
